Verified Reviewer |Lies to their customers!!
I placed an order that was supposed to we shipped in one to three days we are now on the 6th day and I have continuously called Chewy, hoping they will help me get my order. An order, that they unnecessarily, shipped into separate shipments.
No know no this, they were only two boxes in my order and they had to break it into two shipments, making it even more susceptible to issues! Knowing that the last time that they did this, one of my shipments was lost and they had to replace! They continuously tell me that they're calling the facility and then come back and say good news, your shipments are on the truck and headed your way and the next day my order is still in the same exact place it was the day I placed it. Chewy could go above and beyond considering, I've spent over $1,400 in 6 weeks with their company and yet, I'm told that they refuse to pay for a faster shipping or do anything to rectify the situation!
I've now spent almost $150, replacing items that I ran out of and were part of the order that is still sitting as we speak, in the same spot it was 6 days ago! If I were you I'd find somewhere else to order from because if this happens to you, they do not care because they already have your money!

Before purchasing from Chewy, I was a frequent buyer of pet food and supplies from several eBay sellers who offered the same items for a much lower price. Once I decided to enroll in a subscription plan with Chewy, they informed me that my account is closed and I would not be able to shop online since I have opened several accounts!
I had no idea what they were referring to, and then I realized that eBay sellers often ship directly from chewy, and therefore it looked like my physical address was connected to several sellers accounts. I tried to explain to them that this was the issue and contacted them several times. They assured me the matter would be looked into, but that was five months ago, and to date there has been no resolution. It seems that more and more businesses have blockheads for management teams.
No common sense and too much reliance on AI and databases. Welcome to the future!
Preferred solution: I would like to be able to shop online with no hassle from their so-called management team. They need to understand that more than one online entities offers items from Chewy, and that people may take advantage of further price reductions.
User's recommendation: Do not procure your items from Chewy. They are just as horrible as Walmart.
Very happy with customer service
I do not like the title pissed consumer in regards to my contacting them. I just wanted to let them know that one of my packages was damaged in shipping and I lost a little product.

On the phone with 3 operators. Could not place my order, until i got a supervisor.
She placed my order shipped it next day at no charge. Thank her she fixed the problem and did a terrific job.

Order confusion...
I ordered nexgard and Apoquel, 30 tablets. But then after I ordered it came up that I ordered one tablet and not 30 So I had to call your customer service number, and to do that was almost like an act of God as I had to enter my email address and my phone number and the reason why I wanted to call But in the interim, when I did call and your service person answered, he asked me my email address and my phone number because he did not have it in front of him. Anyway, I did order 30 tablets, it's just your website was quite confusing.
Very disay
I have been using chewy for a while an this is the second time they charged my card twice for the same order. They sent out the first charge 6 days before they shipped my auto ship order for dog food and then because it didn't ship for so long they recharged my card again an I had to wait for the first pending charge to fall off.
I don't appreciate them just going in an taking my money when they feel like it. I have auto ship so I should be charged when my order is going to ship not a week before. I called to find out why they did this an upset because I hadn't received the first amount back an the guy was arrogant an rude like I didn't know what I was taking about. I work in retail I understand pending charges which I explained an he than hung up on me.
I called back an the guy explained it was an error on their part that they didn't ship my order in the proper amount of time an had to recharge me. I appreciate the second rep explaining and taking responsibility that it was an error on their part and I was infact correct. Don't appreciate my money still being held up an the customer service I have received that this has happened for a second time.
Don't tell me it's what you do and get an attitude with me an it takes a second rep to admit infact it was their issue. DONT TAKE A CUSTOMERS MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO SHIP THEIR ORDER!!!

Chewy cancelled my account after I placed a nearly $200.00 order. They neglected to tell me about the cancellation until I asked a week later due to not receiving my items. It was a terrible inconvenience and now I will not have certain items before my pet arrives.
Promised to have my auto ship on time and it arrived 5 days late. They would not overnight it to me.
my horse feed was to arrive on January 3 and it was pushed back until next week which would be the sixth. There are no retailers in my area for the particular horse feed I use I explained that to them and they would not overnight it to me.
I am not A pissed Chewy consumer. I love Chewy. My dog went to sleep at 15 years

My precious Irish Setter went to sleep a week ago Monday. I am sad and feel her loss, but I have nothing but praise for Chewy, particularly, their customer service and prompt delivery.

Delivery problem
This is the 3X I requested better service from Chewy and they failed. I asked that the shipment be broken into two boxes of manageable weight.
I was told to call after placing the order and request this service. I did so but FedEx delivered in 1 box and literally dropped it in front of screen door so it couldnt be opened from inside. Shame on FedEx. That is pure laziness.
Clearly the box is too heavy for them to manage as well because they dropped the last delivery and damaged the product
Chewy and FedEx need to up their game. Im heading to Facebook and Nextdoor to post what terrible service I received.
User's recommendation: Avoid using Chewy. They can’t follow delivery instructions and literally dropped a 60 lb box in front of screen door so door couldn’t be opened.
